This is just an introduction post—what to expect, what’s to come, and why I’m doing it.
You probably saw we currently have two sections on our website: the Developer’s Blog and TILs (Today I Learned). The first will be all about our development journey of hopefully useful and loved software for the architectural industry. As I mentioned before, we don’t know exactly what we’re building yet—we’re prototyping and playing with different ideas and technologies. A few things we’re interested in right now are influenced by game design, procedural generation, and humanising software. We want to make software for people. As Sir Jony Ive said:
“I believe that when somebody unwrapped that box and took out that cable and they thought, somebody gave a shit about me, I think that’s a spiritual thing.”
— Sir Jony Ive, at Stripe 8 May 2025
Second, TILs is about our learning and educational journey. This section might have tutorials, explanations, or just things we find interesting. As a solo founder of the company, I had to learn a lot of things myself—and computer science is one of the areas I’m still learning. I want to share my journey and hopefully help other people as well, especially with complex topics like C++, computer graphics, and linear algebra. I’m not in any way a professional in the field, but I’ve done a fair amount of scripting in Unity (C#) and SwiftUI.
Again, I hope sharing my journey—developing something good for architects and designers, and showing the process and learning that went into it—will help others see the behind-the-scenes of the project and maybe inspire someone to do the same.
